Sour Cream Apple Cake 1/2 cup butter 1 package Yellow cake mix 1/2 cup flaked coconut 1 20 oz. can apple pie filling (or you can use cherry,
pineapple, blueberry, etc.) 1 cup sour cream 1 egg 1. Preheat oven to 350. 2. Soften butter in microwave. 3. Cut butter into Yellow cake mix with a fork to a crumbly
consistency. 4. Mix in coconut. 5. Lightly pat mixture into 9 X 13 baking pan and bake for 10
minutes. 6. Remove pan from oven and place pie filling over warm
crust. Spread evenly. 7. Blend sour cream and egg together. Drizzle over pie filling. 8. Return pan to oven and bake for 25 minutes or until edges of
crust are golden brown. |
